lag
Really bad in desert past two nights. Jumped to international zone where I sometimes team up with my daughter in Scotland. No problems there.

I had skill lag in the UW last night...but after I started attacking the skills began working on time again. I hate when that happens...Even worse when you are running away and a mob is sitting where you used to be standing and still attacking you. That one pisses me off.

I'm having some serious lag related problems myself, sometimes it takes ages for something to work, never had this rough lag before.

Last night and today, I've been experiencing a bit of lag while running. Like not losing aggro normally, or running away from a mob and being out of range of them, just to take a ton of damage and find out I was actually stuck in the mob... dying...
I really hope they are streaming the big update. That's the only thing that can redeem this Even so, they still need to work out these latency issues...

I didn't experience any lag last night, but today it is horrendous and has rendered the game unplayable for me. Not sure if it's been fixed, it's been about 2 hours since i last tried.

No, its not fixed. I never lag - ever, but today, I am S L O W loading districts, and when I do, my character cant make any movement apart from spinning around. Have also err = 7'd 3 times in the space of 2 hrs. Had only happened to me once ever before today.
EDIT: To flesh out the situation, it seems the american servers are not replying to some users. In american districts, the busy light on my modem isnt even live. I spent 5 mins, and managed to load the thunderhead outpost, and switched to the international severs. Everything is fine there.

Im experiencing the "exact" same lagg effects as we speak - and have been experiencing all day. I have never had trouble with this game in the past up untill today - whatever Arenanet are working on it better be worth while , because there doesnt seem to be any explanation on the main site about this and it would of saved me a "hella of a" lot of time today if they told me in advance the game was going to be unplayable for this duration (spent about 4+ hours trying to resolve this issue)
EDIT: Your right about the American Districts , I recieved no lag whatsoever in the Internationl Dist - but it doesnt solve anything when you zone/quest/mission.

Been horrible lag today, especially with me and a few friends in the South of England. Its horrible and its making trying to tomb with my guild impossible. I personally feel that this is very inconsiderate on Anets account and I would like this issue to be resolved.

I was getting bad lag last night but i put it down to national maintenance week which my ISP is doing. It didn't mention my specific area but i couldn't think of another reason.
I am getting the same lag again right now. I checked my ISP and they state that the maintenance has been resolved.
I guess it must be Anet then
I just left a compettition, leaving my teammates stranded for the first time ever. I feel really bad about it too.
At least i managed to get a message to them before leaving. I apologised and explained why, made sure the message popped up after the 1:39 long lag spike

Few Tests
I have experienced identical issues to those of you above and have tried to recreate them on 4 different systems (all well beyond the reqs of the game) and 3 different internet connections.
I get the same results in all situations. I hope ANET support is tracking forum posts and working on resolving the issue because this is almost two full days now where the game has been unplayable.
